Material used are Ceramic/ Bone China, this mug is Light weight and durable and the manufacturer recommends that the mug is heat resistant, thus microwave safe - however cup will become hot so is advised to remove with a heat proof cloth if microwaving! Mug is also dishwasher safe, however can shorten the lifespan of the product. Please ensure to wash mugs before initial use!
