The material used is Ceramic/ Bone China, this mug is Lightweight and durable and the manufacturer recommends that the mug is heat resistant, thus microwave safe - however, the cup will become hot so is advised to remove it with a heatproof cloth if microwaving! The mug is also dishwasher safe, however can shorten the lifespan of the product. Please ensure to wash mugs before initial use!
